This is a great question.
While there are many great professional tattoo studios in Southern California to choose from, we would like to think that JCD Tattoo has taken a different approach to providing custom body art to tattoo collectors.
For starters, we've made every attempt to provide you with a very calm and relaxing atmosphere for you to experience while getting your permanent body adornments.
When you first enter the Tattoo Alchemy studio and gallery, you will notice a clean, warm environment along with a friendly greeting. You can sit back and flip through our magazine collections or sit at our 'Flash Bar' to browse through our digital touch-screen portfolios to find the artist that suits your needs.
We're known to go out of our way to make your tattoo as painless as possible. During your session your artist and our staff will make sure you have free refreshments and snacks available to you, as well as a wealth of knowledge for all your tattoo inquiries.
Our artists have made a personal pledge to be on time to appointments and to make sure not to keep you waiting long before for your session. Besides all of the above, everyone here at Tattoo Alchemy takes a lot of pride in everything they do.
It is our goal to provide you with an extremely safe and pleasant experience combined with the highest level of talent and skill in the tattoo industry. To top it off, we stand by all of our work and *guarantee it for life.
We make it known that we really care about our work and our clients. We believe it's all about the little details in what we do, and we strive to keep improving our skills as artists and in making our customers feel at home here at Tattoo Alchemy. That said, don't be surprised if you recieve a follow-up call or email from your tattoo artist to check-up on the healing status of your new tattoo.
On safety and cleanliness...
Let's just say we're fanatics about it. At JCD Tatttoo your health and safety is our highest priority.
We take this aspect of tattooing very seriously and we approach safety and cleanliness with medical and hospital grade standards. We work closely with the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health to ensure that our methods comply with the current guidelines.
Everyone on staff here at JCD Tattoo is *Bloodborne Pathogen Trained and Certified.
Each of the artist stations in our studio are enclosed and separate from the gallery and waiting area. Not only does this lend to your privacy but most importantly it allows us to contain and control any type of cross-contamination hazards during tattoo sessions to ensure your health and safety.
All stations are cleaned and disinfected with strict medical grade procedures and chemicals before and after every tattoo session to avoid cross-contamination. In addition to providing new needles for every client, all items involved in the tattoo process at Tattoo Alchemy are sterilized, covered with protective barrier film or are disposable (new/one-time-use).
We also have a separate sterile room for any non-disposable items to be sterilized in our surgical grade autoclave. Our autoclave is of the highest quality and is routinely maintained and spore tested every single week. (What is spore testing? Learn about spore testing by clicking here.)
We are very proud to maintain an A+ grade granted by the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health. We were recently told by them that we are a model tattoo studio in Southern California.
